The TLC Ambulance helps children in palliative care and their families create meaningful moments beyond the hospital.
Each journey is carefully planned and hosted by the TLC for Kids team in collaboration with Ambulance Victoria. Skilled volunteer paramedics help ensure every trip is delivered safely, comfortably and with genuine compassion, allowing families to focus on being together.
Whether it is a day at the beach, a visit to the zoo, or one final trip home surrounded by loved ones, each experience is designed to bring calm, connection and joy when time is limited.

Following last year’s wonderful event, The Ambu-Lunch returns in 2026 for another afternoon of connection, compassion and meaningful impact.

Booking information
Written notification is required to cancel a booking. If cancellation occurs more than two months before the event date, 90% of the purchased ticket or sponsorship will be refunded. If cancellation occurs between two months and one month before the event date, 50% will be refunded. If cancellation occurs less than one month before the event date, 100% is forfeited.
If any part of the event is cancelled, abandoned or postponed for a reason beyond TLC for Kids’ control, there is no right to a refund or exchange. Where possible, TLC for Kids will endeavour to arrange a substitute event.
